The Sheikh Kamal International Club Cup Football Tournament will begin on October 20 in Chittagong, the port city of the country.
Hosts Chittagong Abahani Limited, Dhaka Abahani Limited, Dhaka Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited, Kolkata Mohammedan Sporting Club, East Bengal Club (Kolkata) Sri Lanka Solid SC, Thimpu SC of Bhutan and Kabul Shaheen Club of Afghanistan.
Marking the forthcoming gala football extravaganza, a view-exchange programme was held at the Hotel Purbani International on Thursday.
Fortnightly Kriralok arranged the view-exchange programme. Chief Coordinator of the Tournament Committee of the Sheikh Kamal International Club Cup Football Tournament Tarafder Md Ruhul Amin, Coordinator of the Tournament Committee Shakil Mahmud Chowdhury, Chief Editor of Kriralok Kamrul Hasan Nasir, Executive Editor of Kriralok Kamal Hossain Bablu and Coach of Chittagong Abahani Limited Shafiqul Islam Manik were present on the occasion.
Tarafder Md Ruhul Amin said, ” All the foreign participating teams will arrive in the city by October 18.”
He also said, ” I shall give a plan to BFF for the betterment of Bangladesh’s football.”
Shafiqul Islam Manik said, ” My boys are taking preparation for the upcoming football competition. We have recruited some players from Sheikh Russel Krira Chakra. Hoping that we shall get some booters from Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club Limited. I hope that my boys will perform well in the tournament.”
