Sheikh Jamal’s another Gambian forward Omar made it 2-0 in the 59th minute of the clash.
Sheikh Jamal’s Uzbek midfielder Otabek increased the tally into 3-0 in the 76th minute of the match.
Faisal of Brothers Union Club reduced the margin in the 81st minute of the clash.
Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club Limited and Dhaka Abahani Club Limited jointly took the second position in the points table bagging 22 points each from their respective 10 matches.
On the other hand, Brothers Union Club took the 12th spot in the points table with two points.
Meanwhile, Bangladesh Police Football Club beat Arambagh Krira Sangha by 2-1 goals in the day’s other match at the Bir Shreshtha Shaheed Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman Stadium in Munshiganj.
Police had a 2-0 lead in the first session.
Police Football Club’s forward Jamir Uddin put his team ahead in the 14th minute of the game.
Police Football Club’s Ivory Coast defender Frederic doubled the margin in the 29th minute of the match.
Nihat of Arambagh Krira Sangha reduced the margin in the 72nd minute of the clash.
