Sharmily Ahmed is a noted actress of the country’s film and TV play arenas.
Now she is engaged with acting in drama serials. Often she is acting in drama serials one after another.
Already Sharmily’s acted five serials are being aired in different satellite channels now. These are: Abul Hayat’s Akasher Oparey Akash, Chandan Chowdhury’s Sob Pakhi Ghorey Firey, Hridy Haque’s Shesh Bikeler Gaan, BU Shuvo’s Life In A Metro and Sagor Jahan’s Mila’r Baranda. These serials are being aired on NTV, Boishakhi TV, NTV, ATN Bangla and Banglavision respectively.
While sharing her feelings about these serials Sharmily Ahmed told this correspondent, “There is exceptionality not only in the stories of these serials but also my characters. But from my point of view I like Hridy’s serial. Because story of this serial revolves with the tales of old-home where a number of senior actors are acting. I am getting huge response by these serials.”
Sharmily Ahmed’s two serials – Afsana Mimi’s Shatti Tarar Timir and Noim Imtiaz Neyamul’s Bakshobondi – are being aired on ATN Bangla and NTV respectively now.
Mainul Hasan’s a serial titled High Society is Sharmily’s one of the new serials.
In the meantime, Sharmily acted and SA Haque Alik directed movie Ek Prithibi Prem is waiting to release soon, she said.
