“After a long time, I worked with Tareen in a drama. I have affection to Tareen. It is no doubt Tareen is a good actress. She was brought up in front of our eyes. She became today’s Tareen from a child actress. As a matured actress, she is outstanding, which impressed me a lot. She is an idol actress who came into this position by virtue of her dedication to acting and also devotion to work. I really enjoyed working with her in this drama. She respects me a lot. In fact, she is seriously caring about the senior actors which is a good example for an actress,” noted film and TV actress Sharmily Ahmed said this while talking about popular actress Tareen while working with her in a Puja special drama titled Biswabhora Pran, directed by Chayanika Chowdhury under the story written by Faria Hossain.
Sharmily took part in shooting of the drama with Tareen two days ago.
Sharmily Ahmed and Abul Hayat acted in roles of aunty and uncle respectively while Tareen played the role of Abul Hayat’s younger brother’s daughter named Shuvra, who is doing her PhD in Japan, in the drama. Rawnak Hasan and Urmila Srabonti Kar also acted in two other important roles in the play.
While talking about working with Sharmily Ahmed in the play after a long time Tareen Jahan said, “Sharmi Maa is our favourite mother to all in media. Once there was scope to work with her in role of mother in TV plays and also got the opportunity to get her love and affection. This inspired us to work. But now due to budget constrains there is little bit scope to show the role of father-mother on the screen. After long time, I worked with Sharmily Ahmed in Puja special drama. She worked having her leg pain. During shooting while I asked her about it she replied, ‘I cannot pass time without acting. There are many things which I can learn from your generation’s actors.”
