M Sharif Hossain of Fire-Service & Civil Defense now took solo lead in the points table of the1st Golden Chess Club International Rating Chess Tournament (Below 2200) with 7 points after 8th or penultimate round games now being held at Bangladesh Chess Federation hall-room.
Abdullah Al-Saif of Narayanganj Pritam-Prism Chess Club, FM Mohammad Fahad Rahman of Gopalganj Chess Club, Shafiq Ahmed of Golden Chess Club and Mohammad Ibrahim Hossain of Sreejan Chess Club are sharing the 2nd position with 6.5 points.
Ikramul Haq Siam, M Abu Hanif, Abdur Rauf and Fasal Hossain are placed in 3rd position with 6 points each.
