Viewers’ choice actress Shanarei Devi Shanu has dreamt to step forward as a writer like her father AK Sheram. As a result, Shanu’s first poetry book titled Nil Foring Kabbyo was published in 2017 in Ekushey Book Fair. Shanu created hype among the readers by her first published book. On that year she also got ‘City-Ananda Alo Sahitya Puroshkar’ for that book. Next year she published three poetry books.
Basically in writing, Shanu finds something special, according to her. As a result, at the end of last year she started to write a novel. As a part of its continuation, she is going to publish her first novel book Ekla Akash from Tamrolipi Publication. Now she eagerly waits for publishing her book in ensuing Ekushey Book Fair.
Shanu informed that besides Ekla Akash, another children book titled Shanarei O Taar Jadur Lei-train will be also published in this year book fair.
Lux superstar of 2005 and actress Shanu also said, “My father is my inspiration in writing. I always try to write like him. But I never thought I could write. When I have started writing I want to continue it for long time. Everybody pray for me. I am very much optimistic about my written romantic novel Ekla Akash. I am also hopeful about the children book.”
Shanu’s father is basically a Manipuri researcher who has been engaged with different organizations specially Manipuri after retired from Sonali Bank as its DGM. Chunarughat of Habiganj is hometown of Shanu.
Shanu acted first movie was Mr Bangladesh which was released last year directed by Khijir Hayat Khan. Now she is busy with acting in Channel i’s serial Shat Bhai Champa and NTV’s serial Sonar Khancha.
