Rabiul Islam took two wickets for 52 runs.
At Shaheed Chandu Stadium in Bogra, East Zone scored 203 for 8 in 76 overs in the first innings against North Zone at stumps of the first day of the four-day affairs Tuesday.
Tasamul Haque (45), Liton Das (43), Shadman Islam (33), Mominul Haque (31), Abul Hasan (not out 18) and Kamrul Islam Rabbi (12) were the notable batsman for East Zone
Sanjamul Islam grabbed three wickets for 33 runs while Nasir Hossain took two wickets for 27 runs.
