Mosharraf Karim and Shamim Zaman are very close to each other. For this reason, Mosharraf worked under Shamim’s direction in several plays. For the first time, popular TV actress Homayra Himu performed with them in a drama serial.
Mosharraf Karim, Shamim Zaman and Homayra Himu performed together in a serial titled Anandagram. Besides acting, Shamim also gave direction of the serial. They have acted in three challenging roles in the serial, which is being aired on SA TV now. Due to story and its making the serial has become popular among the viewers.
While talking about the serial Mosharraf Karim told this correspondent, “Shamim Zaman is my intimate friend. As a director, he doesn’t show any comprise before successfully done the work. Earlier I had worked under his direction in several plays those were liked by the viewers. Though I had worked in few numbers of plays with Himu but we have better understanding in case of acting together. I always feel comfortable to work with her. In fact, Himu is very rough actress. But overall she is a good human being.”
While sharing her feelings about Mosharraf Karim Homayra Himu said, “I am not only a fan of actor Mosharraf Karim but also his personality. There is little number of people in media like Mosharraf Karim who is polite, amicable and gentle person at a time. I can learn many things about acting from him, which is very positive for a performer. I am really grateful to Shamim Bhai that he gave me an opportunity to work with Mosharraf Bhai in his directed a drama serial. We including Mosharraf Bhai take part in rehearsal before taking part in shooting of serial Anandagram. As a result, the work becomes good. We are receiving positive response from the serial.”
Director and actor Shamim Zaman shared his feelings by this way, “I am grateful to performers of the serial because they gave me their schedules properly and in time. I am also grateful to the viewers because they are watching the serial regularly.”
It may be mentioned that five years ago, Mosharraf Karim first worked against Homayra Himu in a faction play. Later they worked together in several plays including Salauddin Lavlu’s directed a drama serial titled Ghorkutum.
Meanwhile, last week Mosharraf Karim finished shooting of first phase of drama serial The Village Engineer. He is acting in the title role in the serial. Masum Reza has written story of the serial, which is being directed by Salauddin Lavlu.
However, Mosharraf Karim’s produced Maruf Mithu directed a drama serial titled Tini Ashben will go on air soon. On the other hand, now Himu has become upset due to dead of her pet dog recently. Now Himu’s acted several TV serials are being aired in different satellite channels.
