Shakib starts intensive training

Ace all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan started intensive training at the BKSP Ground in Savar on Saturday.
Shakib Al Hasan was tested negative for coronavirus on Friday. Then he went to BKSP to take part in the three of four weeks long coaching camp under supervision of his coaches and mentors Nazmul Abedin Fahim and Mahammad Salahuddin.
Shakib Al Hasan took part in the physical fitness training at the BKSP. He did running for a long time there.
Shakib Al Hasan returned home on Wednesday last from United States of America.
Shakib was banned last year by International Cricket Council (ICC) from all formats of cricket for failing to report corrupt approaches. His suspension will be withdrawn from October 29.
Bangladesh Cricket team will tour Sri Lanka to play a three-match Test series against the islanders in October. The first Test is likely to be held from October 24. So, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) wants that Bangladesh Cricket team will get Shakib’s service from the second Test or the third Test.
Shakib Al Hasan will stay at the VIP Rest House in BKSP during his intensive training at the BKSP in Savar.
It may be mentioned that Shakib Al Hasan went to BKSP by his own initiative. He has been taking part in the intensive training under the supervision of his coaches and mentors to prepare him for cricket competitions.
