Sports Reporter :Best Test all-rounder of the world Shakib Al Hasan proved his potentiality after he returned to the cricket. Shakib Al Hasan was banned for almost two months in international cricket for breaching code of conduct of BCB. But when BCB withdrew his punishment, Shakib Al Hasan got chance to play against Zimbabwe and showed an unprecedented performance.Shakib Al Hasan harpooned 18 wickets and scored 251 runs in the recently concluded three-match Test series against Zimbabwe.Shakib could not show extra-ordinary performance in Dhaka Test. Shakib showed his ability claiming six wickets in the first innings against Zimbabwe in Dhaka Test.But in Khulna Test, Shakib showed an unprecedented performance. He took altogether 10 wickets and hit 137 in that Test. Shakib wrote his name in history of the Test cricket. He is the third cricketer in the Test cricket who bagged ten wickets and hit a century. Earlier, Ian Botham and Imran Khan claimed 10 wickets and scored a century in a Test match.It may be mentioned that Shakib Al Hasan made the difference between Bangladesh and Zimbabwe in the Khulna Test. Later, Shakib played a notable 71-run innings in the Chittagong Test and proved that he is really an extra-ordinary all-rounder.
