Shakib optimistic in IPL

Ace all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan is optimistic of his good performance in the ensuing Indian Premier League (IPL).
The first phase of the seventh IPL will be held at Dubai in United Arab Emirates. Former champions Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) will face reigning champions Mumbai Indians on April 16.
Shakib Al Hasan will play for Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL 2014.
Kolkata Knight Riders bought Shakib Al Hasan for three crore and eighty lakh Rupee to play in the IPL.
Shakib Al Hasan played in the IPL in 2012 and 2011 but he did not take part in the IPL, 2013.
The 27-year left-hand all-rounder played 15 matches in IPL. He harpooned 23 wickets and scored 120 runs. His best bowling figure in IPL is 3/17 and his highest score in IPL is 42 runs.
Earlier, Shakib Al Hasan took part in the County Cricket in England and in the Big Bash in Australia. He also participated in Caribbean Cricket League (CCL).
Shakib Al Hasan said, “Kolkata Knight Riders have a good target. There are a number of good cricketers in KKR. In their home soil they are really good side.”
The prolific all-rounder said, “It will be give inspiration to play matches for KKR. I shall try to give cent percent effort.”
