World’s number one all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan and cutter sensation Mustafizur Rahman are expected to face off, if they are included in the best XI of their respective sides, in the 8th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) on Saturday.
Shakib’s Kolkata Knight Riders will face Mustafiz’s Sunrisers Hyderabad (SH) at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad at 4:30pm Bangladesh time.
If Shakib manages his place in the KKR best XI on Saturday and Mustafiz again for SH XI, the fans will enjoy the clash of Shakib and Mustafiz in a foreign league for the first time.
Shakib is featuring in the T20 format IPL for KKR for the 6th time after he made his debut in 2011. He played a vital role for KKR when the side clinched the tournament title in 2012 and 2014.
