Entertainment Report :Internationally renowned Bangladeshi cricketer Shakib Al Hasan and Lux superstar, popular TV actress and model Bidya Sinha Saha Mim performed as a pair in a new television commercial of MacBerry chocolate under the direction of popular actor and play director Mahfuz Ahmed. Shakib and Mim took part in shooting of the TVC in the city’s Banani area on Thursday. This TVC has been made under the banner of production house, Nakshikantha. Earlier Shakib Al Hasan performed as a model in a TVC under the direction of Mahfuz Ahmed. On the other hand, Mim worked before under the direction of Mahfuz in a single play titled Shesh-er Kobitar Porer Kobita. TVC of MacBerry is the second work for both Shakib and Mim under the direction of Mahfuz Ahmed.While talking about making the TVC to cast Shakib and Mim director Mahfuz told this correspondent, “Shakib Al Hasan is an international star in the cricket arena. He has performed outstandingly well in my TVC. He has tried his level best while performing in the TVC. Therefore, he has also changed his look for the demand of the TVC. In the meantime, Mim also did it. I am really astonished about their time sense. Both of them were presented on the set early in the morning to keep our call time 6:00pm and seriously followed our instructions.”Shakib shared his feelings by this way, “I have really enjoyed working in the new TVC. I hope viewers will also enjoy it.”Bidya Sinha Mim shared her feelings by this way, “Mahfuz is my favourite actor, also director. After many days I have worked under his direction. He is very cooperative too. I believe this TVC will introduce a new dimension in the country’s advertisement industry.”It may be mentioned that Mumbai’s renowned cinematographer Jogendra Panda worked with Mahfuz in this TVC. New TVC of MacBerry will go on air within this month in different satellite channels, said Mahfuz. Meanwhile, Mim has performed as model in new TVC of Parachute coconut hair oil under the direction of Amitabh Reza last week.
