Shakib Al Hasan, Mashrafe Bin Mortaza, Nasir Hossain, Saif Uddin left the city on Saturday for South Africa (SA) to take part in the three-match ODI series and two-match Twenty20 International series against South Africa there.
Before leaving for South Africa, Mashrafe Bin Mortaza said to the journalists, ” It is a tough task to perform well against South Africa. Even it is hard to take part in the Champions Trophy. But Bangladesh are now respectable side. Hoping that we shall perform well.
Bangladesh will take on South Africa in the first ODI on October 15, face south Africa in the second ODI on October 18, meet South Africa on October 22.
Before taking part in the ODI series, Bangladesh will play a practice one-day match against a selected XI of South Africa on October 12.
Bangladesh will play against South Africa in the first Twenty20 International match on October 26, face South Africa in the second Twenty20 International match on October 29.
