Ace all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan is likely to play for Bangla Tigers in T-Ten Cricket, which is scheduled to be held in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) from November. Shakib is the Icon Player of Bangla Tigers of the shorter version franchisee based cricket tournament. The official announcement has not yet finalized. But a source confirmed that the bilateral talk between Bangla Tigers and Shakib Al Hasan is positive. So, an agreement between Shakib Al Hasan and Bangla Tigers will be signed soon.
The tournament will be hosted by the UAE. The competition will start in November and will run to till the mid of the December. Shakib could not play full season in the cricket meet as their was a full-fledged series will be held in December between hosts Bangladesh and India.
It may be mentioned that the owner of Bangla Tigers is a Bangladeshi. Apart from Shakib Al Hasan, two Bangladeshi coaching staff will act for Bangla Tigers during the tournament. Noted cricket mentor and specialist coach Najmul Abedin Fahim will act as the consultant of Bangla Tigers. Former national cricketer Aftab Ahmed will act as the Head Coach of Bangla Tigers. Earlier, Aftab Ahmed acted as the coach of Bangla Tigers.
