Shakib leaves for India today

World-class all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan will leave the city for India today to take part in the 11th edition of Indian Premier League (IPL). Shakib will join his team Sunrisers Hyderabad to play in the ensuing IPL. The IPL will start on April 7. Sunrisers Hyderabad will face Rajasthan Royals in their first match of IPL on April 9.
Shakib Al Hasan got injury in his finger when he was playing against Sri Lanka in the final of the Tri-Nation ODI series on January 27. After that he could not play in the two-Test series against Sri Lanka and two-match Twenty20 International series against Sri Lanka at home.
Later, Shakib missed almost all the matches of Nidahas Trophy in Sri Lanka due to injury. Shakib played against India in the final of the Nidahas Trophy.
Sunrisers Hyderabad bought Shakib Al Hasan for two crore Indian Rupees in the auction of IPL.
Meanwhile, ” Cutter Master” Mustafizur Rahman left the city for India recently to play for Mumbai Indians in the IPL. Mumbai Indians bought Mustafizur Rahman for Indian Rupees two crore and twenty lakh.
Shakib Al Hasan scored 3980 runs playing 254 Twenty20 matches. His highest score is 86 (not out).
Shakib bagged 294 wickets playing 254 Twenty20 matches. His best bowling figure is 6/6.
