Popular film actor Shakib Khan has ranked as the top taxpayers in their respective
subcategories for the 2019-2020 tax year. He made a hat-trick as the top taxpayer among the actors subcategory. Shakib received the tax card honour in his
category with the presence of Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal at a
programme held at a restaurant in the
capital’s Paltan area on February 11.
Among the artist category, popular folk singer and Member of the Parliament Momtaz Begum, singer Tahsan Khan and popular actress Bidya Sinha Saha Mim also received the tax cards on the occasion.
While sharing his feelings to become top taxpayers for third time in a row Shakib Khan said, “It is really a delightful matter to get the tax card. It is also delightful because I paid my taxes for the development of the country and for the people. I am feeling honoured as I became the top taxpayer among the artists of the country for third consecutive times.”
Shakib also said that he has submitted a story for the government-grant movie titled Priyotoma. He is reading several numbers of good stories now. If he likes any story then he will start shooting. Nabab LLB was his acted last released movie.
