Ace all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan has donated Taka 10 lakh to the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB). Shakib has given the money as a presentation money. The money will be distributed among the lower division staff of BCB. The money is a gift of Eid. The office assistants, cleaning staff and ground staff will get the presentation money.
In condition of anonymity an official of the BCB confirmed this matter on Wednesday.
The official said, ” Shakib Al Hasan said to the BCB officials to distribute the money equally among the lower categories staff of BCB. Shakib also disclosed who will get the money.”
This is not for the first time a cricketer sent Eid gift (money) for the staff of BCB. Earlier, a good number of cricketers gifted money for the BCB staff. Shakib sent the money to BCB as the gift will be distributed among the BCB staff in a disciplined way.
