Sports Reporter :Shakib Al Hasan believes that Mahmudullah Riyad may perform like Kumar Sangakkara.Sri Lankan ace batsman Kumar Sangakkara scored four consecutive centuries in the ICC World Cup Cricket 2015. Bangladesh batsman Mahumudullah Riyad hit two consecutive centuries in a row. Riyad remained unbeaten with 128 against New Zealand in his sixth and last Pool A match of the ICC World Cup Cricket on March13. Riyad hit 103 against England in his fifth Pool A match on March 9. Besides, Mahmudullah made 62 against Scotland in his fourth Pool A match on March 5.After the match against New Zealand in Hamilton, a journalist at the post-match briefing asked make-shift Captain Shakib Al Hasan if Mahmudullah could score three consecutive tons like Kumar Sangakkara of Sri Lanka. Shakib Al Hasan replied that Riyad could do that as he was in a good form. Hasan said, “Mahmudullah is now in a very good form in the ongoing World Cup Cricket. I hope he will perform well in the quarter-final. He will hit the third consecutive century.”
