Ace all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan will return in the city tomorrow from United States of America. Shakib was banned by International Cricket Council (ICC) for one year as he failed to report corrupt approaches to the authority.
His ban was withdrawn from October 28. Shakib will take part in the five-team Bangabandhu T20 Cricket Tournament, which will start in November. The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) will arrange the cricket competition during the coronavirus outbreak after maintaining the health protocol of Bangladesh Government.
Shakib Al Hasan scored 3862 runs playing 56 Test matches. He scored 6323 runs playing 206 ODI matches. The left-hand batsman scored 1567 runs playing 76 T20I matches.
The left-arm spinner bagged 210 wickets playing 56 Test matches. The 33 years old all-rounder captured 260 wickets playing 206 ODI matches. Shakib claimed 92 wickets playing 76 T20I matches.
