English Club of Department of English, Green University of Bangladesh (GUB) has recently staged two plays of William Shakespeare. The plays performed by the students and teachers in the festival included Othello and Romeo and Juliet.
Prof Dr Md. Golam Samdani Fakir, Vice Chancellor of GUB, attended the festival as chief guest while Dr Muhammad Fayyaz Khan, Pro-Vice Chancellor, presided over the program. Prof Dr Abu Jafar, Chairperson, Dept of English, Jagannath University; KM Wazed Kabir, Chairperson, Dept of English, GUB; Asst. Professor Md. Shamim Mondol were present in the program.
