State Minister for Foreign Affairs Shahriar Alam, MP, has urged the teachers to perform their duties with utmost sincerity and honesty to build worthy citizens to take forward the country.
“Students must be grown as competent citizens as they are the future leaders of the country. And, teachers’ role is vital to build them up,” he said while addressing the annual general meeting of Secondary School Teachers Association of Charghat Upazila at Charghat Pilot School on Sunday.
Association President Emdadul Haque was in the chair while Upazila Chairman Fakhrul Islam and local Awami League leader Anwar Hossain also spoke on the occasion.
