Md Shahinur Rahman, a Masters student of the Department of Political Science of Dhaka University (DU) emerged the champion of the Annual Sports Competition of Shahid Sergeant Zahurul Huq Hall of DU on Tuesday. Samin Md Farhan, a second year student of the Institute of Leather Engineering & Technology became the runner-up of the sports competition. The sports meet was held at the central playground of DU.
Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Administration) of Dhaka University Professor Dr Shahid Akhter Hussain distributed the prizes among the winners as the chief guest.
Earlier, Treasurer of DU Professor Dr Md Kamal Uddin inaugurated the competition. Provost of Shahid Sergeant Zahurul Huq Hall Professor Dr Abu Md Delwar Hossain was present on the occasion.
