Andy Halford, Group Chief Financial Officer of Standard Chartered Bank, visited Dhaka for his second official visit to Bangladesh recently.
During his three-day visit to Dhaka, Andy met with policymakers, regulators, key stakeholders and clients of the Bank.
This follows a host of visits to Bangladesh by senior global leadership of the Bank in recent times, including José Viñals, Group Chairman, Standard Chartered PLC, emphasizing the Bank’s strong strategic focus on the country.
“It is very exciting to see the progress made by Bangladesh in the few years since my last visit. The growth potential of Bangladesh, as our own research has shown recently, is immense. I am pleased that the Bank is playing a key role in driving this growth, providing financial solutions that match the growth aspirations of Bangladesh”, said Andy Halford.
