Md. Shahidul Islam has obtained PhD from the Department of Government & Politics in Jahangir-nagar University. He achieved this degree submitting his dissertation titled ‘Role of Activities of Department of Youth Development in Poverty Alleviation: A Case Study of Savar Upazila’. This Ph.D dissertation has been done under the close supervision of specialized social researcher Professor Md. Abdul Mannan of Dept. of Government & Politics in Jahangirnagar University.
Now he is working as an Assistant Director at Sheikh Hasina National Youth Centre, Department of Youth Development, Ministry of Youth & Sports, People’s Republic of Bangladesh in Savar, Dhaka.
He is the son of Kazi Taser Uddin & Khodeza Begum of Kalashnagar, Lalpur, Natore.
