Sheikh Arif Bulbon :
In this year Amar Ekushey Book Fair, Senior Vice President, Head of Public Affairs and Brand Communication Division of First Security Islami Bank Ltd Shahazada Basunia’s two books are available. These two books are: Top Ten Ghosts and Love In Teary Eyes. Short notes of these two books are mentioned in the following way:

Top Ten Ghosts
It is a book of stories, which tells how beliefs, superstitions and customs are planted in human minds in the society. The stories tell about the ghosts like demons, devils, negative energies, etc belong to the Nether region, Bhuvarlok, or one of the seven regions of Hell (Patal) but they are also found on Earth region (Bhulok). They can travel extensively from the Nether regions to Earth to torment humans with deep-seated impressions of revenge.
To expel ghosts from the possessed persons, objects and places, exorcism plays an important role in various means of purposes. Instead of showing only beliefs, superstitions and customs, each of the stories of the book deals with differences between subtle and astral bodies as well as the reality of life in commensurate with available vices and crimes against humanity in the wider society.
Needless to say that a good number of concepts quoted in the stories of ‘Top Ten Ghosts’ are taken from ‘Spiritual Science Research Foundation’ and Internet sources with deep gratefulness.

Love In Teary Eyes
‘Love In Teary Eyes’ is a social novel deals with the theme of child marriage. Tripti is the heroine of the novel who is not more than 15 years old. She calls for resilience against child marriage always. Her role is to establish the children right and protection in the society.
Local gangsters are used to irritate her always-taking undue advantage of her parents’ poverty. She tries to change girls’ position in the fabricated society.
According to her, girls wouldn’t be playthings of men despite of orthodox beliefs in the society. Why they are limited only to cause children, rearing them, serving husbands and doing other household chores.
Finally, she became an ideal victim of circumstances deliberately in an orthodox society.
