Noted cine-journalist Shafiuzzaman Khan Lodi and filmmaker Mostafa Sarwar Farooki were honoured with the ‘Fazlul Haque Memorial Award 2018.’ The award giving ceremony was held at a city hotel on Saturday.
Veteran actor Akbar Hossain Pathan Farooque MP, noted writer Anwara Syed Haq and veteran actress Sujata handed over the awards, while theatre personality Hasan Imam presided over the event.
The programme was also attended by Imdadul Haque Milon, Mamunur Rashid, Riaz, Omar Sani, Kona Reza, Farhadur Reza Probal and Keka Ferdousi. At the event, they recalled the memories of late Fazlul Haque.
A documentary made on Fazlul Haque titled ‘Agropothik Fazlul Haque’ by Shahidul Alam Sachchu was screened at the beginning of the award ceremony.
