Shabuj, a Masters student of the Department of Philosophy emerged champion in the Annual Sports Competition of AF Rahman Hall of Dhaka University (DU) on Tuesday. Md Saiful Islam Joni, a Masters student of the Department of Graphic Design and Mehedi Hasan, a second year student of the Department of World Religions & Culture became joint runners-up in the sports competition. The sports meet was held at the central playground of DU.
Vice-Chancellor of Dhaka University Professor Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique inaugurated the competition in the morning as the chief guest.
Later, Treasurer of Dhaka University Professor Dr Md Kamal Uddin distributed the prizes among the winners. Provost of A F Rahman Hall Professor Dr Azizur Rahman was present at the time.
