Shabnam Parvin’s Hurmoti film to be released after Eid

Viewers’ choice popular actress Shabnam Parvin has made a movie titled Hurmoti which is based on her own written story. Shabnam Parvin herself played the title role in the movie. Al Monjur wrote dialogue while script was also written by Shabnam Parvin herself.
Shabnam Parvin informed that against her six newcomer actors will be seen on the screen in the movie. They are: Somapti Masuk, Soni Rahman, Srabon Shah, Niloy, Ovi and Tuku. Last Wednesday Hurmoti got uncut censor certificate. While talking about this movie one of the members of the Censor Board noted film actress Aruna Biswas said, “Shabnam Parvin is our respected actress, producer and director. This time she has made a movie on ‘Hurmoti,’ which is really getting appreciation from all. I congratulate her in this regard.”
While talking about making ‘Hurmoti’ Shabnam Parvin said, “A struggling life of a woman is portrayed in the story of Hurmoti. All the actors of this movie tried to give their level best efforts. I am specially grateful to veteran actress Dilara Zaman Apa because while taking part in shooting of this movie she had to face many pains. I also give thanks to National Film Award winner make-up artist Khalil Bhai. I also give thanks to all who were related to this film. This film is tale of a woman’s struggling life. So, I request to all to watch this movie. After Eid-ul-Azha, Hurmoti will be released.”
In 1983, after coming Dhaka under the banner of Boishakhi Nattyogosthi Shabnam Parvin first acted in play Kumarkhalir Char under Asir Uddin’s direction. On BTV, she first acted in Alauddin Ahmed produced drama titled Ek-e Gaan-er Duti Sur. In package, besides own production, she first acted in Humayun Ahmed’s Samudro Bilash Pvt Ltd. During that time she got appreciation from the viewers to act in role of a rubber in that play.
Shabnam produced first film was AJ Rana’s Mrittyodondo where Rubel, Kobita, Sohel Chowdhury and Ankhi acted. She also played title roles in films Bhoyonkor Nari, Kukkhyato Jorina and Durdhorsho Pamela which were commercially successful movies. She last performed as a model in a TVC of detergent powder under Tariqul Islam’s direction.
