“The March 7 rally saw huge gathering of both men and women. We’ve to find out who did that with what motive,” the Home Minister said.
Earlier, an allegation has been raised that some youngsters sexually assaulted a college girl at Bangla Motor on her way to the rally organised by the ruling Awami League at the Suhrawardy Udyan on March 7.
On March 8, the victim’s father filed a case against some unidentified people with Ramna Police Station under the Women and Children Repression Prevention Act.
Police have recorded a statement of the girl. But, none has been arrested in this regard.
