A MoU was signed between Southeast University (SEU) and Genex Infosys Ltd held on Wednesday at SEU Conference Room at Banani in the capital to facilitate Southeast University’s Students’ training, internship and job placement opportunities.
SEU Vice Chancellor Prof Dr ANM Meshquat Uddin, SEU signed on behalf of Southeast University and Md. Mostofa Jaman, Head of Training and Development, Genex Infosys signed on behalf of the company and exchanged documents of this MoU on behalf of their respective parties.
Representative Member, Board of Trustees, SEU Trust M Kamaluddin Chowdhury, Maj Gen Kazi Fakhruddin Ahmed, SPP, psc (Retd), Registrar of SEU, Prof Dr Nargis Akhter, SBS and Director, CPDS, Assistant Professor of SBS Dr Rezbin Nahar were present on behalf of Southeast University.
Akter Hossain, Deputy Manager, Training and Development, Amit Sarker, SM Sifat Sarowar, Executive Training and Development were present on behalf of Genex Infosys.
This MoU will give advantage in a two-tier phase: Firstly, by motivating students to take initiative to enhance their job-related skills, personal growth opportunities, networking capabilities and sense of belongingness and secondly, by building positive image of Southeast University in the job market. The MoU will be effective for 3 years and may be renewed with the consent of both the parties.
