Foreign Affairs Minister Abul Hasan Mahmud Ali said setting up eight more new missions are now under process in different phases with a view to develop interstate relations.
“After coming to power, the present government had set up 10 new missions during 2009 to 2013 and in current tenure since 2014 already seven new missions have been opened,” he said this on Sunday while responding to a query placed by Begum Fazilatunnesa Bappi at the house. In addition to this, to set up eight more foreign missions are now under process in different phases, he said. Of these new missions, all the administrative process has been completed to establish new mission at Rumania’s capital Bucharest, Chennai in India.
