Laying emphasis on easy treatment for general people, eminent journalist Syed Tosharaf Ali has said that homeopathy could be a complete medical science to fight any sort of disease.  
 “In homeopath, the method of treatment is simple, cheap and harmless. Adequate knowledge, devotion, dedication and creative thinking are needed for the success of this medical system,” he said while addressing a seminar as the
 chief guest on the occasion of ‘The World Homeopathy Awareness Week 2015’ on Monday.
Bangladesh Center for Advance Studies in Homeopathy (BCASH) organized the seminar at its office in the city, which was presided over by Dr. M A Kader.
Expressing optimism, Tosharaf Ali said, “Patients come with hope and trust, but always do not get proper treatment. Medical profession is a responsible profession. Negligence or mal-judgment may create serious complications.”
 “Our cultural level, living condition and outside environment are not congenial for good health. So, we are suffering from common diseases which can be treated by homeopathy,” he noted.
Dr. B B Dhor delivered the welcome address and Dr. Md Fazlul Karim presented the key-note paper on “Homeopathy for infectious diseases”. Dr A K Dutta, Dr. A K Ghosh and Dr. Kazi Mohammad Jahangir took part in the discussion.
Special guest Golam Mohiuddin, former General Manager of Bangladesh Bank spoke for homeopathy citing his personal experience.
A cancer patient also narrated his story of healing by homeopathic treatment.
Dr. Bijoy Kumar Halder told the audience his success story about treating a Hepatitis B patient.
The seminar was conducted by Dr. Md. Faruk Ahmed Mzumdar General Secretary of BCASH.
Homeopathy is a form of alternative medicine created by Samuel Hahnemann in 1796.
