Acceptance & accessibility of information to the mass people in case of Right To Information (RTI) act & separate policy for the online and community radio demanded at the workshop titled ‘RTI act and Draft Broadcast Policy: Expectation & Reality’ which was held at the Spicy restaurant, Sylhet on Tuesday, says a press release.
Speakers said, ‘Appropriate policy for the on-line newspaper & community radio are necessary, but it should be contextual and reliable. Through the proper & contextual policy, writings of on-line newspaper will be enriched’. Mass-line media Centre (MMC), Sylhet arranged this workshop under the project Citizen’s Voice for Improved local Public Services (CVIPS).
Project Director (PD) Mossabber Hossain preside over the programme while Chief Executive Officer of the Sylhet City Corporation, Enamul Habib gave speech as a special guest; Shah Suhel, General Secretary in divisional Local Government Journalist Forum (LGJF) directed it.
Chief of Cooperation in MMC , Arshad Siddique was present as the resource person.
