Senior Journalist Khandaker Shahadat Hossain died at a hospital in the city due to old age complications early Sunday. He was 75.
Khandaker Shahadat, also a member of the Jatiya Press Club, breathed his last around 6 am at the hospital, said his family.
Shahadat left behind his two daughters and host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn his death.
He was the Editor of ‘Purbani’ in the 70s and 80s.
He was the general manager of Daily Ittefaq and the founding chairman of Blind Welfare Association.
Shahadat was buried at Mirpur Intellectual Graveyard in the afternoon.
