Bangladesh government has advised all the Bangladesh nationals in Iraq to remain alert and avoid conflict zones there for averting any untoward incidents.
“According to the latest reports, all expatriate Bangladesh nationals in Iraq are safe and they’ve been advised to remain alert and avoid conflict
zones,” said a Foreign Ministry media note on Saturday.
Meanwhile, the government has decided to suspend sending these workers to Iraq till confirmation of safe and secure environment there.
Bangladesh hopes that the government of Iraq, with support from the international community, would be able to contain the situation there with an inclusive political dialogue with all ethnic groups.
