A day-long International Seminar titled, ‘Management Practice in Bangladesh and Challenges of Twenty First Century’ will be held at Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia today (Wednesday).
The Management Department of the university will arrange the seminar at Business Administration Faculty on the campus at 10 am, said secretary of the seminar Dr Dhanonjoy Kumar.
Vice-Chancellor of the university Prof Dr M Harun-Ur-Rashid Askari will attend the seminar as the chief guest while its Pro-VC Prof Dr M Shahinoor Rahman and Treasurer Prof Dr M Selim Toha will be present as special guests.
Prof Dr Amalendu Bhunia of Kalyani University, India, and Prof M Saiful Islam of Islamic University (IU) will deliver the keynote papers at the seminar with IU Management Department chairman Prof Dr M Ruhul Amin in the chair.
