A seminar titled ‘Bangladesh and BIMSTEC: Way Forward’ will be held in the city on January 13 next. Bangladesh Institute of International and Strategic Studies (BIISS) will arrange the seminar at the Institute’s Auditorium. Foreign Minister AH Mahmood Ali will attend the seminar as the chief guest at the inaugural session while State Minister for Foreign Affairs M Shahriar Alam will be chief guest at the concluding session. Secretary General of BIMSTEC Sumith Nakandala will be present at the inaugural session as special guest.
Senior civil and military officials, former ambassadors, members of academia, scholars, and policy makers will also take part in the seminar.
