A 14-member selection panel selected 32 footballers on Sunday from Development Cup Football Tournament. Directorate of Sports arranged the football competition for Under-16 booters. A total of 112 footballers from seven different divisions took part in the football tournament. A team was comprised of 16 footballers. Seven coaches of Bangladesh Football Federation and seven coaches nominated by Directorate of Sports finally selected the 32 footballers.
Chittagong Division emerged the champions of the football tournament while Rajshahi Division became runners-up in the football meet.
