Finance Division (FD) of the Ministry of Finance has initiated to develop five lakh skilled manpower in the country for eliminating poverty and ensure sustainable development to build Bangladesh a middle income country by 2021.
Speakers said at a workshop held at local circuit house under Skills for Employment Investment Programme (SEIF) here on Monday.
Khairul Islam, Deputy Project director of SEIF presided over the function while Divisional Commissioner of Chittagong Ruhul Amin addressed the function as the chief guest.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Shankar Ranjon Shah, Deputy Commissioner of Chittagong Shamsul Arefin, officials from divisional level, representatives of training institute, representatives from industry associations and other associations.
