BNP senior leader Abdullah Al Noman on Wednesday alleged that the government has filed a sedition case against their chairperson Khaleda Zia to obstruct the party’s planned national council.
“This government wants BNP not to be reorganised and make its council unsuccessful. That’s why it filed a
case against our chairperson to keep her busy and harass her mentally and thus obstruct our council,” he said.
Addressing a protest meeting, the BNP leader further said, “But, we want to clearly state that our council will be held at the right time and a fresh committee comprising old and young leaders will be formed through it.”
