Security beefed up in Kishoreganj for Eid-ul-Azha

Kishoreganj District Administration has taken tight security measures in the Town and its adjoining areas for ensuring a pleasant Eid-ul-Azha, the second largest religious festival of Muslims will be celebrated across the country on 10th July (Sunday),due to proper health guidelines.
Law enforce has taken security measures before and after the great religious festival of the Muslim respectively in Kishoreganj town and 13 upazila headquarters of the district. The decision to adopt strong security measures at a district review meeting of Law and Order at Collectorate Conference Room with DC and District Magistrate (DM) Mohammad Shamim Alam in the chair. Additional DIG in Police,, ADM , BGB Sector Commander, Civil surgeon( CS) RAB- 14, Kishoreganj Camp Commander, Kishoreganj’s Mayor , Upazila Chairmans, UNOs and Sholakia Eidgha Management Committee members were also present and addressed the law and Order meeting.
The meeting has decided not to allow setting up of makeshift cattle markets except the approved place by then local administration. Additional DIG Mashrukur Rahman Khaled Bpm (Bar) told the New Nation that, a special security arrangement has been taken up in the town including 8 municipalities, upazila areas ahead of the upcoming the Eid-ul-Azha. The police and RAB ensure security to all the buyers and sellers at the cattle markets.
To make the security effective the police setup a control room at Sholakia cattle market in the in the town. Special attention would be given to securing areas in and around the cattle markets where huge money, transitions usually widen scope for criminals.
Foolproof security measures have also been ensured by the district police to keep law and order situation under control in and around at all cattle markets.
As part of other security measures, RAB would set up close-circuit television (CCTV) cameras, spy sunglasses, counterfeit currency detestation machines at the cattle markets.”
The cattle farmers have prepared 97821 sacrificial c animals including bulls, bullocks cows and goats and sheep for Eidul Azha.
