Threat to blow up Judge Court: Security beefed up in Kishoreganj

The Home Ministry puts its law enforcers and intelligence agencies on high alert in Kishoreganj .
Neo-JMB has threatens to blow up Kishoreganj Judge Court, District Jail with bombs.
The threat was issued in a letter sent by Ahad Miah who indentified himself as Katiadi Thana Unit Neo-JMB Amerr to Senior District and Session Judge Md. Mahabubul Islam on Tuesday by a post.
In the letter the Neo-JMB Amear demanded cancellation of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s India visit, ban on Moulana Fariduddin Masud as Imam of the Sholakia Eid Congregation and the unconditional release of Huji leader Mufti Hannan.
Kishoreganj police have stepped special security beefed upto reinforce security of visitors, especially Judge Court, CJM Court, Collectorate Building, foreigners, Government offices, NGO offices, State run Oil depot in Bhairab Port, Port terminal, Railway Stations, Bhairb Railway Bridge, Syed Nazrul Islam Bridge (Meghna Bridge), Power Station, CNG Station, hospitals and establishments.
A special meeting was held at Police Super Office with Police Super Md. Anowar Hossain Khan in the chair on Thursday morning.
Police Super Anower Hossain Khan said that Instruction has been issued to all the police stations to provide highest security of the foreigners in their workplaces and residences in Kishoreganj district.
Police also asked the local residential hotels to sent the list forign boarders immediate after his cheek in.
Police campaign against militancy terrorism held at Akhra Bazar, Nagua, Bara Bazar, Railway Station, Gaital Busterminal, Batrish Bus stand and Josudal Bazar among the peoples.
SP said all police posts, thanas, D.B and specials branches have been alerted about the foreigners’ movement.
As part of other security measures, RAB would set up close-circuit television (CCTV) cameras, spy sunglass, counterfeit currency detestation machines at important establishment.
