Dhaka: The International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) held a festival of Sree Sree Jagannath Dev at Nandonkanon in Chattogram.
Sreemod Bhaktipriyom Gadadhor Goswami Maharaj, principal of ISKCON Rangpur and senior vice president of ISKCON Bangladesh, inaugurated the event recently.
Helal Akbor Chowdhury Babor, inventor of corona prevention booth and former finance affairs secretary of central Awami Jubo League, attended as the special guest.
Addressing on the occasion, Helal Akbor Chowdhury Babor called for maintaining discipline and upholding consciousness in our social life. We have to be respectful to great humans. Secularism is now well established in Bangladesh, he added.
High officials of ISKCON of Chattogram and local public representatives were present on the occasion.
