The Marcel Air Conditioner Dhaka Metropolis Second Division Volleyball League began at the Dhaka Volleyball Stadium on Tuesday.
Secretary of National Sports Council Shivnath Roy inaugurated the volleyball competition by releasing the balloons as the chief guest while First Senior Additional Director of Walton Group FM Iqbal Bin Anwar Dawn was with him as the special guest.
Vice-President of Bangladesh Volleyball Federation Mostafa Kamal was present at the time.
In the day’s first match, Dhaka Sporting Club beat Nabadoy Sangha by 3-1 sets at the same venue.
In the day’s second match, Nagar Samaj Kalyan defeated Nabajatok Majlish by 3-1 sets at the same venue.
