AFP, Prague :

Former under-21 international David Bystron became the second high-profile Czech footballer in a matter of weeks to apparently kill himself after he was found hanging in his cellar, reports said Saturday.
The towering 34-year-old defender was found dead in his home in Switzerland on Friday, the Czech newspaper Sport said, amid reports of family and financial problems.
He was playing in Swiss amateur football after a professional career that saw him play twice for the Czech under-21 side, while he was also a Czech league champion with Banik Ostrava and Viktoria Plzen.
He also won the Bulgarian championship with Levski Sofia but his career imploded when he tested positive for methamphetamines and was suspended for two years, ruining his chances of playing for his country’s senior side at Euro 2012.
Frantisek Rajtoral, 31, another former defender with Banik Ostrava and Viktoria Plzen, was found dead at the end of April at home in Turkey, where he was playing for Gaziantepspor.
He had 14 caps for his country and also committed suicide.
