Scrap 9th Wage Board: BFUJ

Top leaders of Bangladesh Federal Union of Journalists (BFUJ) on Sunday urged the government to scrap the newly passed 9th wage and develop a journalist oriented fresh wage board.
The leaders were speaking at a meeting held at Jashore Press Club and arranged by Jashore Union of Journalists on Sunday noon.
The leaders termed the wage board as anti journalists wage board.
Ruhul Amin Gazi, president, BFUJ was the chief guest at the meeting. The meeting was addressed among others by M Abdullah, secretary funeral, BFUJ and local leaders Rashedul Islam, Noor Islam, Saifur Rahman Saif, Tauhid Zaman, Benjin Khan, Saiful Islam Sazal and Akramuzzaman.
Shahid Joy, president, Jashore Union of Journalists chaired the meeting.
