A multipurpose programs consists of farewell to outgoing SSC examinees , reception to successful students in JSC exam and freshers reception to newly admitted Class Six students of current calendar year was held at Satkania Gatiadanga Alhaj Safia Mamtazul Hoque High School recently at school compound.
Founder of the school, noted industrialist and reputed social personality & education patroniser Alhaj Abul Bashar Abu presided the reception function.
Alhaj MA Awal graced the occasion as chief guest . Among others officer -in -charge of Satkania thana Md Rakibul Hossain, Nalua Union AL President FF Ahmad Miah and former Director of Maa-o-Shishu Hospital Md.Sagir attended the function as special guests.
Chair of the function in his brief deliberations’ emphasized the importance of science and technology based education to help facilitate the development of agriculture , industry & global trade for achieving economic uplift of the country.
Mentioning the students , he told that students are the future generations of the country and the higher government officials, MP , Ministers etc will come out from these new generations.
He advised the students to become enlightened citizens and to follow the ideals of the father of the nation Bangabandhu for upholding the independence and sovereignty of the country.
MA Bashar Abu also advised them to go through the history of liberation war and to dedicate for the development of the country. He also advised the guardians to watch their sons and daughters and enquire academic studies so as they can not derail from proper paths of education, a school sources said.
