A school girl died after being crushed under wood pile at Dighinala Bazar of the district on Tuesday afternoon.
The deceased was identified as Urmi Aktar, 10, daughter of Abdul Malek, hailing from the area and class III student of a local school.
Locals said, Urmi was playing beside a stack of wood logs in the afternoon.
Suddenly, the wood logs lot fell on Urmi, leaving her dead on spot.
Police confirmed the incident.
