A schoolboy was stabbed to death allegedly by a classmate at the Kewatkhali Railway School premises in Mymensingh town on Tuesday morning .
The deceased is identified as Rasheduzzaman Liyon, (15), a class IX student of the school, a resident of Bolashpur area of the town.
Kotwali Model Police Station Officer-in-charge (OC) Kamrul Islam said one Nayeem, a classmate of Liyon, stabbed him near the school ground at about 9am, leaving him critically injured.
Later, Liyon died on the way to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital.
The OC said, that the reason behind the murder could not be known immediately.
